2017 Downtown Oshkosh Holiday Events

This week the downtown Oshkosh area is hosting a variety of holiday-themed events open to the public. From “Breakfast with the Grinch” to the annual holiday parade, there is surely something for everyone. Check out all of the various events below!

2017 Holiday Passport

Spend and shop local this holiday season at a select list of locations and be rewarded! For every $15 you spend from November 16th to December 31st, you’ll receive a “sticker” to put in your booklet. After 5 stickers you’ll receive a price! Booklets are available at BMO Harris Bank, Fire Escape Art Studio & Gallery, Market Boutique on Main, Satori Imports, and Brinkley’s Boutique. Letters to Santa

Write your very own letter to Santa and drop if off at any of the participating mailbox locations. When Santa receives your letter it may show up on the @OshkoshSanta Twitter feed! Drop off locations include: AtomicKatz, Backlot Comedy House, Klassy Kids Consignment Shop, Market Boutique on Main, and Satori Imports.

BID Tree Lighting Ceremony & Windward Wealth Strategies’ Holiday Parade

Join the downtown Oshkosh community on Thursday, November 16th for the BID tree lighting ceremony in the Opera House Square, followed  by the Windward Wealth Strategies Holiday Parade! This year’s parade theme is “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” so grab your family kick off the holiday season the right way! Live music, food/drink vendors and other family activities will be available. The fun kicks off at 5pm, don’t miss out!

Breakfast With The Grinch/Whoville Holiday

On Saturday November 18th, come on down to the Oshkosh Convention Center and have breakfast with the Grinch! There will also be a variety of events happening all day, including free horse and carriage rides, free showings of “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” at Time Theater, and “A Grinchmas Celebration” at the Oshkosh Public Library.
